The radicar raði'kaɾ exhibition brings together artists resident at POUSH or in Paris who have been led to think from or about Latin America. Bringing them together raises the question of the transatlantic migration of bodies and ideas, of diaspora and collective, of dialogical identity. It is in this lived interstice that translation takes place. In the linguistic sense, of course, from one language to another, but also in the philosophical sense. It is a key point of tension between the vernacular and the foreign, a fundamentally political place.

radicar raði'kaɾ is interested in the figure of the diasporic or migrant artist, polyglot or traveler, as translator-ice. These artists circulate in the international art world and its institutions, places marked by acts of intercultural discourse, where the translatability of their work is the condition of its exhibition. These artists do not speak with a monolingual voice. They are fundamental critical decoders who question these circulations in their work, hijacking systems, appropriating or inventing languages. It is in this friction, sometimes this discomfort, that the possibility of a dissident epistemology and a reconfigured reality emerges, amplified by the experience and existence of otherness.
