Presented by Zohreh Deldadeh, Anne-Laure Peressin and Andy Rankin, the exhibition Shaping explores the challenges and complexities of creative processes in contemporary art. The concept of "shaping" implies a psychological dimension by examining how artists approach their work, making aesthetic and conceptual decisions and choices, while being influenced by internal and external factors that are often invisible.

From the first idea to the collaborations required for certain works, from the choice of materials to the constraints of the exhibition space, the creative process is shaped as much by the challenges of the space, from creation to exhibition, as by contemporary considerations that cannot ignore a transversal dimension that is social, societal, political and economic. These factors have a direct influence on the way in which audiences perceive the work and take on board the challenges of contemporary creation.
