Ink Inc. is a collective installation comprising two separate works that interact with each other: Automatic Decision Shaping (Olivain Porry, 2024) and The Artist (Victor Vaysse, 2023). Automatic Decision Shaping features cash register receipt printers which, directed by AIs, vote together to determine which shapes to show the public on their paper rolls. The Artist takes the form of a hijacked office printer which, when hung on the wall, displays images generated by an AI. Put together for Ink Inc. the elements of the two installations interact with each other, and the printers vote together to fill the space with artificial images.
