The third Narrations des Ordinaires, after the exhibition held at AU LIEU in 2021 and Galerie Laure Roynette in 2022: the author and curator Adrien van Melle proposes to explore the way in which artists, including himself, deal with fantastic and autobiographical everyday life through the medium of narration.

For this chapter, the twenty-six participating artists were invited to reflect on the exhibition’s subject by creating a background for a predefined shape that is perhaps the most everyday of them all: a smartphone, encased in an unassuming plexiglass box.
