POUSH HOT GLASS
POUSH HOT GLASS
Founded by Andrew Erdos (artist and POUSH resident) and POUSH, POUSH Hot Glass is dedicated to education, the creation of contemporary art, and the preservation of glassmaking savoir-faire.
Utilizing a custom-made furnace by Glassmakers EU, POUSH Hot Glass is designed to be mobile and can easily travel for events and activations.
Since its launch in spring 2025, POUSH Hot Glass welcomed over 10,000 visitors for glass making animations, classes and artist collaborations.
POUSH Hot Glass is installed at Le JAD (Jardin des Métiers d'Art) for a series of public events until July 31st. (web link)
POUSH Hot Glass will return to its permanent home at POUSH (Parc des Portes de Paris, Building 267) to begin a new series of classes and artist collaborations.
Spring and summer classes:
Classes are open to everyone, regardless of previous experience with the material.
There are two students per class. Each session lasts 2.5 hours.
The price is €198 excl. tax (€238 incl. tax) per person.
Each student will create a sculpture out of solid glass and a piece of blown glass. POUSH Hot Glass will provide all necessary tools, materials and colored glass. We will explore various glassworking techniques and provide a comprehensive overview of the process. It is best not to have a specific project in mind for this first class.
If you would like to take an individual class, you can reserve both spots.
