From October 14 to November 2, 2025, the National Manufactories – Sèvres & Mobilier National are unveiling the exhibition Salon des Nouveaux Ensembliers (The New Designers Show), which celebrates the centenary of the 1925 International Exhibition of Modern Decorative and Industrial Arts. This is a unique opportunity to discover contemporary spaces conceived in the bold spirit of the great ensembliers (designer-decorators).

Organized by the National Manufactories – Sèvres & Mobilier National, the Salon des Nouveaux Ensembliers aligns with the spirit of the 1925 International Exhibition of Decorative Arts, which celebrated Art Deco and the fusion of luxury and functionality. Following the example of the Ensembliers of that era, this first edition spotlights a new generation of architect-decorators, invited to rethink spaces with a holistic design approach, combining aesthetics, contemporary uses, and durability.

Under the theme "The Embassy of Tomorrow," the ten selected architect-decorators have carte blanche (complete freedom). Their proposals reinterpret emblematic spaces—domestic, reception, or diplomatic—by highlighting French savoir-faire (expertise), eco-responsibility, and innovation. The Salon thus presents cohesive projects that engage in a dialogue between tradition and modernity, while asserting the excellence of design and interior architecture as a reflection of French culture.

On the occasion of the re-invention of the Embassy space by ten contemporary designers, POUSH is investing the margins, the transitional zones, and the recessed areas. In these places of representation, the staircases, hallways, and passageways have always been the stage for showcasing French savoir-faire and craftsmanship.

Contemporary artists and artisans, gathered at POUSH, are taking hold of the paintings, marquetry (inlays), and tapestries to revisit their conventions, in discussion with pieces drawn from the collections of the Mobilier National (French National Furniture Collection).

Featuring : Thomas Ballouhey, Anna Le Corno, Pauline Guerrier, Juliette Minchin, Desire Moheb Zandi, Eliott Paquet, Ugo Schildge and Xolo Cuintle.
