With L’utile et l’agréable, presented under the Coupole for Paris Design Week, around forty artists and designers question function. What remains of a form when it loses its use? What becomes of a work when it adopts one? In this in-between space, ambiguous and often unstable objects are born, shifting our ways of thinking about use, care, or simply the presence of things around us. The exhibition opens a dialogue between art and design, between poetic invention and practical transformation. The pieces on display oscillate between habitable sculpture and critical furniture, between the useful and the useless.

On this occasion, Lucien Nicou will activate his installation, Tour de contrôle.
