la Parcelle's Grand Party. Saturday 27 September 2025.
La Parcelle is celebrating the end of the season by reinventing itself as a playground for all ages. It's a big, joyful fair that gives pride of place to movement, performance, and dance.
The program, curated in partnership with POUSH, le CENTQUATRE-PARIS, and LA CREOLE, is designed for dancing until the end of the night.
3 PM – 6 PM:
The Happy Gatherings by la Maison des Petits at CENTQUATRE-PARIS Upcycled weaving workshops, a large dripping mural, and a coloring puzzle will delight the little ones! (Ages 3 and up)
The Little Theater by Valentine Prissette & John Fou, resident artists at POUSH A textile and pictorial theater set comes to life. The audience is invited to invent characters and accessories for this puppet circus, through fabrication, interpretation, and filming. A performative workshop conceived by artists Valentine Prissette and John Fou. (Ages 8 and up)
DJ sets by Radio Minus A rare and playful musical selection from vinyl records for children all over the world. A mix of a musical nap and sonic discoveries to accompany the afternoon workshops.
The afternoon will be punctuated by Wrestling Society, with wrestling performances by the artist Clément Courgeon at 4 p.m. and 6 p.m.
6:30 p.m. – 7:30 PM: Dance Workshop with Patricia Badin
This workshop offers an exploration of twerking as an artistic, political, and bodily practice. Focused on the pelvis and musicality, it draws on bouyon and Afro-diasporic rhythms. Participants will work on both letting go and technique: isolations, undulations, vibrations, and movement control. More than just a workout, it is a space for transmission and reappropriation of the body, where movement becomes a language of resistance, power, and freedom.
8 PM – 8:30 PM: SOUL Performance by LA CREOLE
LA CREOLE is a multidisciplinary collective dedicated to the influence of mixed-race cultures. Its purpose is rooted in the "Whole World" concept of the writer Edouard Glissant: a world that we share according to a principle of interpenetration of cultures. Performers: Cindy Emelie - Hebi Snake - Ziikos
8:30 PM – 10:30 PM: DJ set by Doubi
A specialist in Caribbean music, Doubi is not limited to a single style: his sets navigate between dancehall, shatta, bouyon, zouk, soca, and afrobeat, creating a unifying and powerful atmosphere that gets every audience moving.
Saturday, 27 September, from 11am to 11pm
