On the occasion of the fourth episode, “À revers”, le19M has invited POUSH to present works by eleven artists which resonate with the creation of textiles.

Yvannoé Kruger, the artistic director of POUSH and guest curator of the exhibition, has chosen eleven artists—Kenia Almaraz Murillo, Dana-Fiona Armour,
Gaëlle Choisne, Sara Favriau, Adélaïde Feriot, Deborah Fischer, Célia Gondol, Pauline Guerrier, Michel Jocaille, Demian and Olivera Majcen—all of whom are working conceptually or technically on embroidery and its underside. Two of them have worked with resident Maisons d’art at le19M: Gaëlle Choisne with Maison Lemarié and Dana-Fiona Armour with Atelier Montex. 

This “side B”, the hidden reality that is not usually shown, becomes the central theme and character of this episode, which will also be punctuated by performances, practical workshops, and talks.

The exhibition design was conceived and produced for la Galerie du 19M by Atelier Craft, who are also based in Aubervilliers. This episode is thus characterized by a strong local base, one of the fundamental values of le19M.
