In its instability, tensions and contrarieties, dissonance could represent the image of our times. To express this absence of harmony, four artists, two Lithuanian painters - Mykolé Ganusauskaité and Victor Paukstelis - and two POUSH residents - artist and filmmaker June Balthazard and composer and musician Richard Sears - have come together in a joint exhibition.

Exhibited side by side, the works of these four artists illustrate this pretextuality between dissonance and consensus. Each artist has chosen different sources of inspiration and media to unleash his or her imagination. Tackling themes such as man's relationship with art history, landscape and animals, as well as images and sounds, they each deal in their own way with the contingency of contemporary contradictions.
