In September 2026, Loukoums & Art Contemporain – Jean-Michel Attal Collection presents its inaugural exhibition inviting POUSH, bringing together thirteen international artists whose practices question the complexities of contemporary existence. Titled Fatigue, the exhibition explores the multiple forms and implications of exhaustion, examining how states of vulnerability, limitation, and withdrawal can become grounds for artistic inquiry. Through painting, sculpture, installation, video, and performance, the invited artists reveal new perspectives on the rhythms, pressures, and conditions that shape our present.

“Conceived as an observation rather than an illustrative theme, Fatigue proposes to approach this condition through the field of contemporary creation. The exhibition invites artists to consider fatigue not only as a subject of representation, but as a starting point, a working condition, and a state of consciousness from which to question the very structures of artistic production: work rhythms, distribution networks, calls for productivity, as well as the forms of precarity that run through today’s artistic practices. What gestures, forms, and strategies can emerge from this state of wear? In dialogue with the contemporary attention economy, Fatigue shifts the focus toward what lies off-camera, toward what eludes the visibility of the finished artwork. Rather than seeking to represent fatigue, the exhibition turns it into an interpretive framework: a space of attention dedicated to the very conditions of possibility for the artwork, its fragile temporalities, its zones of friction and withdrawal. It thus forms part of a broader reflection on what producing means today, in a context where regimes of acceleration, visibility, and output profoundly shape artistic practices.”
