Resident pianist, composer, and electronic musician, Richard Sears, opens his studio for an intimate performance by his trio, featuring Matteo Bortone (bass) and Francesco Ciniglio (drums). As space is limited, an RSVP is required.

Richard Sears previews the release of his forthcoming album "Appear to Fade", a collage of piano improvisations, produced with magnetic tape loops. "Appear to Fade" unveils a realm where the boundaries between jazz, ambient music, and tape music blur. "Appear to Fade" will be released late summer on Figureight Records, a Brooklyn-based label curated by producer and multi-instrumentalist Shahzad Ismaily (Lou Reed, Laurie Anderson)
