An "echo chamber," Chambre d'écho reverberates between Black Echos (Yacob Bizuneh) and Parlement (Olivain Porry). The exhibition stages the relationship between two collections of objects—two resonant bodies deployed in space that confront one another.

The barrels from Black Echos reveal the symbolic density of petroleum, its slow and swampy memory flowing in desynchronized rhythms. In response, the commonplace pans of Parlement answer more or less noisily in what appears to be a dialogue of the deaf.
